Coming this summer – screenings of representative films celebrating the first centuries of Warner Bros. and the Walt Disney Company, plus a 100th anniversary presentation of Harold Lloyd’s silent comedy classic Safety Last! with live musical accompaniment.

Save the last Saturday of July, August and September for these outdoor screenings on the lawn of the historic Doctors’ House in Glendale’s Brand Park. More details will be forthcoming in the near future.

The series is a presentation of Alex Film Society, Retroformat Silent Films, The Glendale Historical Society and Brand Associates, with generous support provided by the City of Glendale’s Community Services & Parks .

The presentation of Harold Lloyd’s Safety Last! On September 30th is adjacent to Silent Movie Day, a global event dedicated to celebrating and preserving silent movies.
